Environmental Health Internship

Interns support youth and family climate leadership by contributing to climate education, preparedness resources, workshops, and digital engagement activities that advance climate preparedness and resilience. This role is ideal for individuals interested in the intersection of climate change, public health, community resilience, and trauma-informed engagement with vulnerable youth.

Gender Equality Data Collaborative internship

Interns support global gender equality initiatives by contributing to data analysis, visualization, and engagement activities that strengthen community-driven data and amplify the work of partner organizations. Responsibilities may include developing data outputs, creating content for GEDC Member Spotlights, supporting communication with member organizations, and assisting with outreach and recruitment efforts. This role is ideal for individuals interested in global health, gender equity, data for advocacy, and working with community-based organizations.

The Association for Community Empowerment Solutions (ACESWorld) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), nonprofit organizations are not classified as “for-profit” employers, and internships may be unpaid when structured as educational experiences.
ACESWorld internships are structured as learning-focused experiences, with an emphasis on skill development, mentorship, and practical application in public health and community-based work. Interns have access to professional development opportunities, including NonprofitReady training, internal skill-building sessions, and opportunities to create public health materials (e.g., infographics). Interns may also have opportunities to attend professional meetings and global forums; however, associated expenses are not covered.

Program Management Internship

Interns support program coordination and implementation by contributing to project management, partner engagement, and operational activities that advance ACESWorld’s public health and community-based initiatives. Responsibilities may include supporting project timelines and deliverables, preparing reports and correspondence, organizing meetings, coordinating with partners, and assisting with research and program development activities. This role is ideal for individuals interested in program management, nonprofit operations, and community-based work.
